The airplane
The ecoCaravan developed by Ampaire is a retrofit of the CESSNA Caravan into a hybrid propulsion system. This project aims to repurpose a vast fleet of Caravans deployed worldwide by transforming them into a more sustainable hybrid propulsion. Ampaire has significant experience in hybrid propulsion through a demonstrator on a CESSNA 337 Skymaster.
